The victory moves Teutopolis to a record of 25-0 and sets up a semifinal matchup against Pleasant Plains at 6:30 later this evening. These two teams met in the semifinals of the 7th grade tournament last year and the Wooden Shoes defeated the Cardinals, 27-18 en route to the 2014 7th grade title. Peotone closes out their season with a terrific 20-2 record. The Wooden Shoes were in control of this game almost from the beginning as they led 13-4 after the first quarter and extended the lead to 19-7 as they headed into the locker rooms at the half. The Wooden Shoes used a balanced scoring attack and were led in scoring by Karsyn Mette with 9 points. McKenna Evans also scored 9 points to lead Peotone in scoring.
