Game Comments: The Mustangs of Colfax Ridgeview faced the Eagles of Bismarck-Henning in the last semi-final of the day. Colfax Ridgeview got out to an early lead behind a swarming press and the sharpshooting of Grace Ward who had 5 points. Emily Meidel answered for the Eagles in the second half with 6 points to close the gap to 3 going in to the break. The Eagles came out of the locker room ready to score. Meidel scored an additional 4 points in the third quarter for the Eagles. Ward answered with 5 points in the third quarter for the Mustangs and took them in to the final quarter leading by 5 points. The final quarter was a great battle between both teams. The Mustangs managed the ball well and sealed the victory.
Bismarck-Henning will play in the Consolation game on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Colfax Ridgeview will play in the Championship game on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. |
