Game Comments: Minooka pounded out seven hits and took advantage of nine Danville North Ridge errors, but won the game in the bottom of the seventh with a squeeze bunt from Adam Ladzinski. Minooka erupted for four runs in the bottom of the first. Thomas McGrath got the inning started with a double and Tony Seego drove in three of the four runs with a bases-clearing double.In the top of the sixth, Blake Janesky ripped a two-run home run to tie the score at 6-6 after Dennis Forrest doubled home Tyler Koch for the first run of the inning. Minooka won the game in the bottom of the seventh inning when Adam Ladzinski squeezed home Brian Paros from third in a bases loaded, one out, situation. Minooka advances to the title game with a 22-2 record. Danville North Ridge goes into the third place game with a 13-4 record. |
