The Illinois Elementary School Association announced Friday, January 23, 2009, that the IESA will sign a new ball contract with Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. making Rawlings the "official ball of the IESA" starting with the 2009-10 school year. The adoption of the official ball is for the next five school years.
