Special Wrestling Rules Meetings to be Held

A series of special meetings for wrestling coaches will be held around the state starting on November 12 to discuss and answer questions about the new wrestling rules that will be in effect for the 2009-10 year. Specifically, information will be presented about rules regarding weight certification, the no growth allowance rule in effect starting this year, and other wrestling specific information.

Although wrestling coaches are not required to attend, it is highly recommended that a wrestling coach attend one of these meetings. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, November 12 @ Johnsburg JHS 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 17 @ Normal Parkside JHS 6:00 p.m.

Monday, November 23 @ Chatham Glenwood Middle School 5:00 p.m.

Thursday, December 3 @ New Lenox Martino @ 6:00 p.m.

Monday, December 7 @ Arlington Heights South @ 6:00 p.m.

Monday, December 14 @ Monmouth-Roseville JHS @ 6:00 p.m.
