Game Comments: The Saints of Bloomington Corpus Christi advanced to the Semifinals of the class 2A tournament with a 37-21 victory over the Tigers of Gardner. Bloomington Corpus Christi will now face Bushnell-Prairie City at 6:30 this evening. The Saints were led in scoring by Meg Lantz with 9 points, while Katie Steinman added 7. Bloomington Corpus Christi raced to a 10-4 lead after one quarter and 17-6 at the half. The Saints used a 15-4 advantage in the 3rd quarter to seal the victory. The Gardner Tigers finish the season at 14-6. Congratulations to both teams! |
