Game Comments: The 3rd place game started out a defensive battle as both teams settled into the trophy game. Sigel St. Michael’s found their shot quickly and jumped out to a lead they would never relinquish. Okaw Valley finally got the ball to drop for them in the 2nd quarter, but went into halftime down by 9. In the 3rd quarter the Timberwolves came out of the locker room a new team and cut the lead to 2 with a minute to play and held St. Michael’s to 4 points for the quarter. The final quarter of the game saw the teams battling it out with St. Michael’s coming out on top. The leading scorer for the game was Sigel's #2 Jolene Bueker with 12 points. Okaw Valley's #32 added 11 points for her team six of which came in the 3rd quarter to help her team cut into the lead.
