| Game Comments: The Raiders of Champaign St. Matthew faced off against the Rockets of Roanoke-Benson in the second quarterfinal game of the day. Both teams had a slow start to the game and it appeared there was a lid on the basket for Champaign St. Matthew. But their defense hung in there and kept them in the game. Neither team gave-up and both came out of the locker room after the half fired up. Free throw shooting played a significant role in the outcome. Champaign St. Matthew mounted a comeback in the final quarter, but the Rockets prevailed. Roanoke-Benson will play Hardin Calhoun in the 5:00 semi-final game tonight. Congratulations to both teams on their seasons. |
