After trailing 6-0 at the end of the first quarter, Washington outscored Mattoon 7-1 in the second quarter to knot the game at 7-7 at halftime. Mattoon took command in the third quarter outscoring Washington 8-5 and led 15-12 heading into the final quarter. With Mattoon leading 17-16 and only 33 seconds left in the game, #31, Jennica Hipes hit the biggest basket of the night when she drained a 15 ft. jump shot from the right baseline to give Washington its only lead of the game. Mattoon, which was led in scoring by BreAna Sanders, finishes the season with an 18-4 record.
