Bowling State Finals

WHEN: Friday - April 16 and Saturday - April 17, 2021

LOCATION: Town and Country Lanes - Joliet, Illinois

AWARDS CEREMONY: Awards ceremony will begin Saturday at approximately 3:00 pm.

 

STATE FINAL RESULTS

Go to the IESA website at www.iesa.org and click "Bowling" in the box at the top of the home page. You can look at Round 1 advancers, State Final Individual Results and State Final Team Results.

 

GENERAL ADMISSION

Spectators enter the facility through entrances located off of Springfield Ave. or Jefferson St. Gates will open at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (Bowlers will be allowed in 15 minutes earlier each day).

Friday admissions will be $5.00 for adults & $3.00 for students K-8/senior citizens (62+).

Saturday admissions will be $7.00 for adults, $3.00 for students K-8/senior citizens (62+).

The school administration is permitted free entry so long as they are listed on the school's online roster. If a school administrator would like to bring a guest, the IESA activty pass must be shown or the guest will be required to pay the general admission ticket price. The designated wristband for each day allows you re-entry into the facility for the length of the tournament that day

 

PARTICIPANT/COACH ADMISSION

Buses and cars should drop competitors off at the participant entrance located off of Springfield Ave.  Access Springfield Ave. from Jefferson Street (Route 52). The participant entrance is located to the right of the main entrance that faces Springfield Ave.

All coaches and participants will be admitted through the pass gate. The pass gate is accessed through the Town and Country Lanes participant entrance.  The participant entrance opens at 7:45 a.m. on Friday and 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. If you are not traveling as a school, establish a meeting time/place so that you enter as a school.

 

DIRECTIONS TO IESA STATE BOWLING

From 55 Northbound (from Bloomington) take Exit 253, Shorewood/Joliet US-52. Turn right on W. Jefferson St./US-52. Town and Country Lanes will be on your left at Springfield Ave. If you reach N. Hammes Ave. you've gone about 0.2 miles too far.


From 55 Southbound (from Chicago) take Exit 253, Shorewood/Joliet US-52. Turn left on W. Jefferson St./US-52. Town and Country Lanes will be on your left at Springfield Ave. If you reach N. Hammes Ave. you've gone about 0.2 miles too far.


From 80 Eastbound (from La Salle) take 55 North towards Chicago, exit 126B. From 55 Northbound take Exit 253, Shorewood/Joliet US-52. Turn right on W. Jefferson St./US-52. Town and Country Lanes will be on your left at Springfield Ave. If you reach N. Hammes Ave. you've gone about 0.2 miles too far.

 

PARKING

FREE Parking is available to all IESA Bowling State Finals patrons on Friday and Saturday in the Town and Country Lanes parking lot. All overflow parking should park in the Provena St. Joseph Medical Center parking lot. It is located directly north of the facility off of Springfield Ave. 

Privately owned parking lots surrounding the Town and Country Lanes may tow your vehicle if improperly parked.

 

SIGNS, BANNERS AND NOISEMAKERS

IESA By-laws do not allow the displaying of signs, banners, balloons, and such, at the site of a state final event. In addition, IESA By-laws do not allow the use of noisemakers at the state final event. Examples of items that are not allowed include, but are not limited to, cow bells, thunder sticks, milk cartons with rocks inside, shakers, whistles, electronic sound making devices, etc. Come to the state final event ready to clap and cheer for your athletes.

 

BOWLING PHOTOS

An IESA picture may be taken of your bowler(s) when they arrive at Town and Country Lanes on Friday. The order form (available on the IESA Bowling Documents and Links page) should be brought to the photo station with payment on Friday. Team photos are also available for teams.

 

PURCHASE OFFICIAL STATE FINAL APPAREL

The Cubby Hole is the official and only vendor authorized by IESA to provide fans attending the state final events with the official tournament souvenir apparel.
