From the opening tip-off, the Bruins played a high pressure defense that caused problems for the Wildcats. In the first half their press caused turnovers that they quickly converted to points. The guard play by the Bruins never showed any fear as they penetrated the defense of the much taller Wildcats. Altamont hung with the Bruins in the first half capitalizing on their height and out rebounding the Bruins. After the half the Bruins came out of the locker room fired up and out scored the Wildcats 27-12 in the 3rd quarter. Leading scorer for the game, #1 Nolan Reid scored 11 of his 22 points in the third quarter. Congratulations to both teams on a great season.
